Exactly! The seal is not an endangered species. As well it damages our environment. Why doesn't anyone say anything about the Dingo culling in Aussieland? I think thier cute, fuck let's get greenpeace there!
The club must be big enough to kill with one blow. Otherwise they may be skinned alive. It keeps fisherman's livelyhood going and prevents the poverty that would otherwise occur. Anyone hear ever wear leather?
The US should sign Kyoto before judging anyone else. The seal hunt is environmentally friendly and humane as possible, (as much as slaughter can be).

Canada requires a clear determination of death (blinking eye reflex test) before seals can be processed. A study by independent members of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association found that virtually all seals taken during the hunt are in fact killed in a humane manner.

The seals hunted today must be independent, self-reliant animals. Although gruesome images of nursing seal pup hunting continue to be circulated around the world, in fact, the commercial hunt of nursing seal pups is banned in Canada.
