It's easy to pass judgment but most people really do look beyond just the exterior.
However, first impressions do mean a lot and we each have a range of what we find acceptable. Personally I couldn't deal with someone who's entire life revolves around their looks, the maintenence would be too high and well in time the looks will fade.
