This is a shitty way to live. I prefer to trust everyone with certain things and continue working with the ones that don't fuck me over. You're leaving a lot on the table if you just close yourself off to new associates. I've worked on projects with dozens of people and while only a handful didn't try to fuck me I've made much more money working with them than if I had never trusted anyone.
