actually man this would not be a wise idea, while falling to your death you would have time to think about some fucked up shit. what would you think about as you're falling to your death and can clearly see the ground growing closer? wpuld you have regrets about shit you've done in the past or be thinking about "damn is this going to hurt?" etc etc.
you want to end you life the way you feel it should end.
gun shot to the head, yea ok thats quick and painless. be sure to put the gun in your mouth before you pull the trigger, not the temple. people do try to commit suicide and fail via this method. when the gun goes off it tends to shift just a tad bit and people will still shoot themselves in the brain but still survive and be a vegetable for the rest of their lives. FUCK that too. if you're going to do , why not do it right.
slitting your wrists is slowing and painful, have you ever fucking had a cut on your wrist, that shit hurts like no other and bleeds like crazy. the reason people cut their wrists is because there are huge veins there. slitting your wrists is quite the pathetic hollywod 'cliche' type suicide way to go. its slow and you will just pass out from lack of blood and die a stupid death like that.
now hanging yourself, thats fucking hardcore. thats a real mans death. you suffocate yourself moderatly fast. i believe it takes up to 7 minutes to die this method. but you can make it nicely done. in the midevil times peoples necks would often break instead of them choking to their deaths. if you fell from high enough you're neck would break the instant that rope reached its taughtness.
but fuck all that bullshit. seriously. we are talking about committing suicide; ending your own life. why not take out some others with you? jail is only punishment for the living. you'll be dead in the end so why worry about what laws are restricting you from doing whatever you want to do. Laws were made for honest people. slaughter a bunch of people who have ever done you wrong in your life and then end your own life. its the perfect fucking solution. you cannot punish the dead.
