Not as pleasant as you would think.... lots of vomiting and shit, even with a REALLY big IV bolus you will hang on for a few mins and that few mins will be hell on earth - and it would be far from guaranteed.
If you want to do it right - 1/2ltr of saline, lots of morphine/heroin, 180mmol K and some ondansitron. Run it over about 2 hours - any faster than that and the K will fry your veins.
