well i followed all the instructions
E.P.T. Quick Stick
1. Remove the test stick from the foil packet and discard the freshness sachet.
(okay, i didn't discard the sachet, my dog came into the bathroom and ate it...but that shouldn't matter, right)
2. Pull the clear plastic splash guard back towards the thumb grip to expose the absorbent tip and also to protect the results window.
(splash guard, like my aim isn't accurate enough)
3. Hold the test stick by the thumb grip, point the absorbent tip downward, and urinate on the absorbant tip for at least 5 seconds. (Note: if more convenient may urinate into a clean cup and then immerse the absorbant tip into the urine for at least 5 seconds)
(okay, so i pissed on the stick for about 35 seconds, it was fun and good target practice)
4. Wait 2 minutes before reading the results.
(tick tock tick tock)
5. The formation of a pink/purple line in the small square control menu indicates that the test is working properly. (Note: if a line does not appear in the control window, the test is invalid)
(gulp, a purple line formed)
6. A pink/purple line in the large round window indicates a postive result and means the patient is most likely pregnant. No line (the absence of a line) in the large round window indicates that the patient is not pregnant.
(bingo, i'm pregnant)
