Way I see it, our whole way of society has made it easier for this generation - no way you could've avoided it. But we also adapted to technology and have (I dont know the exact term I'm looking for here) more "specialized" or "precise" tasks. Ask most 50 years old to do what most of us consider simple, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Now I dont want this to turn into an endless debate, but basically what I'm saying is an infant adapts to the environment that surrounds him. Thus, it wasn't harder for you than it is for us, because "hard" is relative to each and everyone of us. But I have to agree with you, I despise some of my "siblings", perhaps I'm a bit conservative.
