Back in 99/00 Doug(Sharkysr) and I helped plan a few 'small' gatherings that dotted the US Map. We focused on keeping it somewhat localized yet tried to plan in all different sectors and limited to 200 or so attendees. They were mainly about networking in a more relaxed, quiet atmosphere in one hotel with a couple seminars and of course a nice party mixer in the evenings.

Later CE hired doug as their organizer and I bowed out but those were some of the BEST events for getting some serious contacts/work rolling.

The Phoenix Forum started out this way also with Kong, BB and the crew organizing .. to me, its still the best event by far and CCBill deserves cudos for taking over and keeping it successful.

I'd love for more SMALL events/gatherings to pop back up
