I think the child should have been able to walk alone, sounds like it was only a few blocks. The asshole in this story is the guy with 6 Pits, which means he was breeding them. Almost every time you see something like this happen it's the same story, the dude had 12 Pits on chains in the backyard. Backyard breeders are uniformly true shitheels, and breeding Pits is just a scheme to them like the weed they're trying to grow in the attic. imho they should penalize such breeders VERY VERY heavily for this kind of shit, and you wouldn't see it nearly as often.
