If belonging to the "tin foil hat" crowd includes questioning EVERYTHING that is presented to me as a fact by anyone...then count me in.
It'd be a perfect world if noone ever questioned authority and propaganda and lies and just stuck their head in the sand and took what was spoonfed to them on a daily basis. That would be just perfect...
Not taking shots at ya...but the whole "tin foil hat" thing always makes me laugh. If noone had ever questioned anything we'd all be running around thinking the world was flat. Questions and distrust aren't always a bad thing.
Spreading rumors as truths are a bad thing however and I think that's the tin foil hat community you are referring to, but some of us who wear the tin foil hats just honestly have a general mistrust in the information we're expected to believe.
