ok based on the limited information i am assuming that you are connecting to an exchange server and the offline mode you are talking about is ost file.

If that is the case, you have corrupted your ost file
the solution
log out
search for *.ost file
change the name file
reopen the outlook client it will re sync and restore from the exchange server mailbox
