I understand that, but I'm being honest with him on how dangerous benzo's can be. Addiction to benzos is not like other addictions. Obviously, there are psychological and physical components. One is not detoxed from benzos just by ridding the drug from your system. You need time for your brain to heal which can take months up to a year. This is because (okay, I'm rusty on this part) benzos create extra gaba channels in your brain that fire indiscriminately when you cease taking the drug. Why not take something else and not risk it?
People get hooked on taking it only a few times!
