The communities are pretty close-knit and traditional. Hang out at McGill university and scope the scene - they have to have been westernized, raised in a greater environment where they might tend to break away from their cultural influences.
But then you might come off as a bit of a sleazy vulture, unless you just post something on their billboard or an ad in the university paper (if they allow soliciting for that kind of work - you gotta be open, you know?)
