Well of course, client got to be happy, but the client does not get shit until 1/2 is deposited. Thats just smart policy, maybe you have not been burned enough to make the decision yourself...

Nothing about such terms. What he said is there which
Translates to: "Just do it and when he is happy ya will get paid."
Now ya can approach a real designer and most good programmers and they will laugh you out the door.
Again each there own, I just hate seeing people with skill's get used up.
