Hmm. The women in your family seem to be depriving the men of the best part of Thanksgiving. Eating a fantastic dinner that the women made, then drinking beer, watching the game and having a nap while the women do the dishes.
I've always assumed it's Thanksgiving day because the women are thankful the men put up with their nagging all year, and that ONE day, they're giving something back to the men.
I dunno.
