what makes me different in my work ability because I chose to spend my money on clothes that fit MY style, instead of a button down and slacks?
clothes are a reflection of a person, i will agree with that...most of my clothes are fun, outgoing and spark conversation...but i guess button down long sleeve dress shirts that all look the same and are BORING are what makes a person a better worker, huh?

I disagree, he is talking about going to a job interview. There are time and place for everything, if you think keeping your own style and don't give a shit about how your employers think because if he doen't like how you dress then he isnt the type of person you want to work with. That's pretty naive man... the boss doen't have time to get to know you to know that you're a good workout so you just have to adapt.
