xanax is not for depression, it is strictly for anti-anxiety.
anxiety is the cause of panic attacks not depression.
All paxil will do for a person with panic attacks is screw up the equilibrium of chemicals that is more than likely fine to begin with.
Im not a big fan of the Paxil, Zoloft, Prozac boom.
Its all do to marketing of these coporations, and has little to do with the need of the patient. Really sad.
