The 5-6 meals makes a HUGE difference. You'll lose fat just from doing this (as long as you are getting even moderate exercise). This keeps your metabolism cranking throughout the day. Never let your stomach get completely empty, until you are ready for sleep. If you feel hunger pangs, you aren't eating often enough.
Also - drink a lot of water every day. At least 64 ounces. More if you don't mind pissing a lot.
If you usually eat too much at a single meal, here's a tip: eat a small handful of almonds (about 10) about 30 minutes before meal-time. Wash them down with two 8 ounce glasses of water. The fibers in the almonds will swell and you won't be very hungry for dinner.
