It's really much more common in the USA than I thought it was...
I honestly thought that automatic circumcision of new-born babies (i.e. not for medical reasons but only for the looks of it)... was over...
but from the posts in this thread, its a big thing in the US...
I'm just glad I'm in montreal so when I have a kid I don't have to debate over having a painful mutilation done to him, or him being laughed at because he's not circumcised....
Don't get me wrong: I see your point..."Hey everyone else does so therefore, let's do it, else, it would be weird"....its just not enough of a good reason for me to even consider causing useless pain to a newborn baby....
but like I said, you seem to have your mind made up already...a lot of articles, links etc. were posted in this thread but all of your posts are pretty much in favor of doing it...so I say do it...this thread wont change your mind...
