Usually it will smell down "there" after a woman has a menstral cycle or sometimes during. Some women sweat more there than others and it can cause a bacteria to build up and that is what is causing the smell. Much like a yeast infection. The best advice is to see your Ob/Gyn and let them know the problem and they can fix it for you. I wouldn't try any sprays or perfumes, those could add to the smell and are only masking it for a while.
