Basically it's a "get out of my sand box cause you're not cool" thread and really shows the character of a lot of people that post here. I have sponsored parties for $100K+ and I didn't give a shit if someone snuck in. Don't blame him, blame the shitty security for not doing their fucking job.
Banning the guy (or gal) from GFY because of something that happened off the boards is just fucking ridiculous. Show me where it states in the TOS that you'll be banned for crashing a party where "big wigs" blow each other. Give me a fucking break!
If the guy "crashed" the party then security needs to be chewed out, not the crasher. And DH, sorry to hear about your clients that weren't able to get in but I have sponsored a shit load of parties and for $40K you should have had an open list. Giving up that much money for a sponsorship and being limited to what you're able to do with it just seems a bit naive. You seem to me a good business man, I can't believe you overlooked this small detail before you gave $40 large on this party.
