Fucksakes - But to reply to your concern.. if your son's future pleasure isn't a concern, then really hygiene wise, he is better uncut.
a) Foreskin does act as a protective layer. The 'skin' on the head of the penis is actually a soft membrane, and not actually a skin, however the membrane of men who are cut will form a thicker membrane/more skin-like because of the protective foreskin layer not being there.
b) Foreskin also acts as a protective layer FROM bacteria / outside organisms, and without it can lead to at least just as many problems as with an unclean, uncut man.
I'm really not trying to convince you of anything, just telling you the facts that I know, and I'm not the only or first person to state them. Research things on the net or ask a few doctors if you're really wondering; as far as I know it was just started as a religious ceremony for a new born boy, I don't know what religious signifigance that has, as I'm not circumsized or even baptised because my parents wanted me to have the choice, and I've never even remotely thought of having it done.
