Seriously, if you are asking questions like this, stay away from a ringflash.
You really need to know what you are doing with lighting to use a ringflash.
If you have the ringlight too low all you are gonna get it redeye.
Best use a couple of V-flats with lights bouncing into them and then use a ring to pop the model from the background.
