If you are relying on the PR display on the Google toolbar - then it means nothing whatsoever in your rankings
That said - if you can figure out what your "real" PR is - which is impossible without having someone that knows what they are doing look at the whole site and your linking structure as well as the whole support structure around your site (which BTW - very few advertised SEOs have any clue about) - then that would be of some help - but not much other than to tell you where to improve certain things on your own site and linking with other sites.
More important in the overall scheme of things is the improvements you can do yourself adding more content (text is content in the SE world) to more pages and making sure everything links correctly - will do wonders for your keyword/phrase rankings
