i wouldn't have put it quite that way, but it did occur to me early on that in every case where i have ever seen a program accusing someone of a crime the FIRST thing their lawyer did was tell them not to talk about it.
regardless of her innocence, amy probably shouldn't have talked details about it, either - and again, any lawyer i know would tell you definitely NOT to talk details about this publically.
anything each party says here - no matter if they manage to say something so it doesn't come off quite the way they meant it - is open to the other party. even if this stays civil and doesn't go to criminal procedings, they are giving away each others' cases and contentions to each other.
not smart.

my free legal tips of the day.
1) don't accuse someone of committing multiple felonies in a public forum.
2) don't comment on a serious matter that is under investigation.
3) if you are being accused... dont be so fucking stupid as to talk about it either.
what a bunch of fucking retards. if you guys have attorneys, they must be the dumbest motherfuckers on the face of the earth.
