Second... explain the website he joined is crap and the *real stuff* is on another site.

Fourth... Deal for an annual membership that "normally" costs $500 and discount this to him for $200.
Fifth.. Let him know that under no circumstances is he getting any refund on this - you have already done him an enormous favor even letting him join for just $200.
