I think the inherent problem with the xbiz awards are two fold.
1. The nomination process is basically a complete joke.
2. A very large chunk of the industry See's the event as staged and rigged awards. It does not matter if they are or are not of course, and any theories of why people think it is so does not really matter. Problem is in the perception, and once a large number of people perceive that it is even if it isn't they are forever tainted and devalues the whole process.
