You're absolutely correct... it needs more marketing... and I'm simply not a marketer. I originally wrote the software under contract with Newbreed (who's a heck of a nice guy) but he wasn't able to market it and ended up in some financial difficulties and couldn't pay the development costs. So, instead of being a dick head and taking him to court or putting a lien on his house, I simply had him assign the ownership of the software back to me and basically let him off the hook in hopes that I would at least be able to sell enough to recover my development costs. A big part of the problem is the never-ending saga of the lawsuit between the FSC and the DOJ. There's a lot of adult webmasters who could easily use my product but they are simply sitting on the fence and not doing anything regarding 2257 until Judge Miller makes his decision.

I've got a few pretty good sized programs using the software and they seem to be pretty satisifed with it and I'm continuing to do additional development based upon their feedback and requirements.

I think one of the issues in terms of marketing the software is although it has a great name, MAVIS, it needs a 'face' to go with the name. Hence my requirements for a good cartoon character for the marketing efforts.
