1) a 14 year old can't vote because they're still children and most can't make any sort of responsible decision about politics.
2) 18 year olds mainly hang out with 17 year olds, and 16 year olds, and there has to be a line somewhere.
3) Good question. I'm all for a 21 year old shooting age.
