Yes, it can be that simple: One nicely-worded text link like "For the most amazing, HDTV-quality live cams check out ...." and also have somewhere "For cheap live chat cams, starting at $0.99/min ..." etc.

On blogs, it's even easier: Have one post about video quality, another about cheap live chat (I really try to avoid "free").

Really, you are asking qualifying questions and letting the surfer choose instead of forcing him/her to where you want them to go. The visual customer will go for the eye candy (hot cam girl photos or high-quality screen caps) whereas the budget-conscious will be looking for "$" and the words "cheap", "free" etc.

Honestly, take a look at some of the great books on user interface design (for the web, or at least for computers) and/or conceptual marketing - there is a wealth of info and tips on how to direct site visitors. I have a few and they are gold-mines, even for adult sites.
