obviously you haven't been in the hospital recently
the process is VERY streamlined now and they have finally figured out that they can send people home to recover and it just as well
my wife had heart surgery 2 months ago and it was a 15 hours stay in the hospital
once they figured out nikki's brain was in the clear, i imagine they weren't worried anymore, and figured she just needed rest
