This is the truth... but the fact of thematter is, horses are unpredictable animals. I trained horses and worked in stables for many years, and I know that EVERY SINGLE TIME we had a rider, they had to sign a waiver. I'm pretty sure that if there was no safety waiver involved, whoever set the shoot up for Nikki is gonna be in an assload of trouble..
But to be sure, a horse falling on you can cause some major damage.. I had a horse flip on me in a riding accident, broke my collarbone, my wrist, and injurced 5 discs in my lower back. I was in a wheelchair for 6 months and physio for close to 2 years. Having a 1500 pound animal land on you is DEFINITELY not the ideal situation.
Glad to see though that Nikki is getting better, but she should be looking into the legality of it all, especially if she has no health insurance. A waiver is ABSOLUTELY NECCESSARY when working with unpredictable animals, no matter what the context. I know they make people sign them in Hollywood
