Definitely consult with a 1stAm attorney, though.

Let me say this first: Your choice of links is interesting. It is a censored listing of a censored list used on PBS's Frontline, which is a notoriously conservative / christian oriented show.

Let me then add this: The Cambria list represents one (experienced) attourney's version of what should or should not appear in a porn movie (mostly the box cover) to be as safe as possible. It is like a girl taking the pill, using an IUD, and insisting that her partners where condoms and get a vasectomy.

Let me add this: The list when released was a discussion mostly of what would be on box covers of videos. That is why there is this important point "Before selecting a chrome please check facial expression. Do not use any shots that depict any unhappiness or pain." - chromes, for those of you who only think pictures come in digital formats, is an actual photographic negative.

Some of the items on the list (such as black / white sex) are there to appease the southern hick racists who might consider that morally objectionable and therefore obscene to them. The thought was that if a video store gets raided, the police will not spend the time initially to view all the videos in the store, and will rather select the ones with the most otrageous scenes on the boxcovers. By not putting such stuff on the box, it is likely that someone else will be used as the justification for the obscenity case.

In reality, Some dude name Bin Ladin came along before Assclown had a chance to really take the industry on, and completely and totally distracted the US government and the DOJ. Only recently has the DOJ started to act on the threats and political posturing that was present in both elections.

What is obscene? I don't know.
