I mean the camera is very mobile, very active. Always doing fast pans, zooms, never sitting still and recording the pro-filmic scene.
Michael Bay never lets the camera sit still. He is always rushing towards one of the actors. It is supposed to create tension but sometimes it is almost funny.
Check out Pixote. It is a great movie. It stars a ten year kid who was from the favela and not an actor. A couple of years after the film he was executed by police officers who had supposedly been paid by shopkeepers to eliminate street kids who they considered pests.
