What we did one time here in Norway:
Took a bunch of a wormwood, put it into a bottle of plain hills absinth, filled it quite tightly, and left for a week.
Then filtered it through a couple of coffee filters....
Finally, the taste was very very bitter, but two shots made me feel slightly better than i expected
I can't say there were any deep trippy things, but still, that definitely was a trip. The light one
