Hi Kristian - just so that there is no misunderstanding - although my responses were to you they were in no way meant to intimate anything about you - just general statements
So no assumptions about you personally whatsoever.
I also know and have studied the origins of the bible and have a pretty good feel for the politics that went into the conversion of the folk stories into what a king wanted to use to unite a set of two groups of peoples - when most were believers in two different gods, and by doing so increase his power over the city and thereby try to end the dissention between the groups. That these stories have been proven false archeologically, and some were converted to fit the one god - it still boils down to the same thing - a bunch of BS that was told as folk stories converted to "gospel". Of course I wouldnt even pretend to know the politics behind the later conversion of the bible to Christianity as that was just another power play thousands of years after these folk stories were originall told - and used again to justify killing of millions of people which kinda keeps playing to this day doesnt it?
