some of the dialogue in the movie was impov!! all of emery (the di) was ad lib as the actor who was hired to do the job was a suckass do kubrick tells emery ( who was a technical advisor for the movie to take the job and the rest was history)
I wonder if there is a unrated uncut version floating around?
btw.. did you know the movie was film in england? the palm trees came from spain and the asians came from various towns around london!

the barracks seens .. brought back memories of endless push ups, hours of mindless cleaning, wasted minutes of ironing, and the best fucking belly laughing i have ever had. I loath my boot camp days... but i would never ever trade a single second of it.
