You seem to be forgetting something.
You say people that have this/that or other in their sig like a sponsor link are "surfers" but take a look at your own sig.
It's a ccbill wm ref link and I've seen no threads on here with your "paysites" or "big player affiliate program".
But I do agree that just because I wasn't a member 3 years ago of GFY, doesn't mean I am a surfer. I never joined GFY because frankly I was a member of some other forums that I was happy with until lately.
. Anyone who works in this industry, who isn't a "surfer", is part of the industry. Marketing, affiliates, designers, program owners, aff mgrs are all a "part" of the industry.
Not thinking so means you have a very narrow view. And are in fact a total noob.
