Maglight is cool, but how powerfull is it compared to those 1 million candle flashlights?

They're not nearly as powerful, of course...but they're reliable and durable as hell. I use'em for lightpainting with my photography. I also have a 1mcp porta-sun...but its bulky and awkward to haul around. The mag fits on a belt holster and is great for long hikes.
