That said, the rioters need to be caught and punished. Period. If France isn't able to do that, then that's their problem. If they need help containing their problem they can ask for it, I'm sure several of the countries named in the title of this thread would happily lend a hand.

Its gone too far to be bought back by a negotiated response.
Bring in a curfew and the army to enforce it. Then sit down and talk.
I also think that anyone caught rioting that is not born in France should be deported back to country of origin.
