Typically if someone's getting funky (breaking the rules) I just close the thread. On occasion I'll even hit them up on ICQ (as some of you know) and ask tactfully that they chill. Only in a worst case scenario is banning even considered by me - but it is still rare. Since last year I can probably count on one hand the people I personally have banned. Everything I do regarding the board I then email the rest of the admins/mods. That way if they disagree they're free to challenge my decision (also rare). Having said that I can only speak for myself. I am almost always available to talk to about issues like this (again as some of you know). So contact me if you have any more questions.
