That alone is worth it for security reasons. The blackberry even has better a better radio in them and that means better coverage.
And yes I've used them both, Right now I have a treo, i730 and a blackberry with me and out of the 3 of them, the treo has the most problems.

Read that and see for yourself all the problems that most treo users have. The people that don't have any problems are rare.

You are so unbelievibly wrong. The palm format of the Treo opens up to 100's of thousands of applications I can use.
I can ftp to my servers, shell access, I can remotely access files off my pc , I can make quick edits on web pages or scripts that go wrong, I can hook up my treo to my laptop with PDANet and get internet anywhere my cellphone works on my laptop.
They are 2 different things completely and the blackberry is a nice tool and i would argue that maybe its easier to use for instant messaging and emailing....but if you're in IT field...its not even a question
And about the lawsuit thing...thats just people wanting money. Myself and everyone i know have never had a problem with it. The only people who have problems with it are the same people who get an error on their pc and think that its broken
