As someone that handles all the phones in our company, (3000+) the blackberry's are the clear winner. The treo's do what's called a pull for the e-mail and the quickest you can pull is 5 minutes. We have a Blackberry Enterprise Server and over 2500 blackberry's. The users get there e-mail sometimes before it shows up in their outlook on our Exchange 2003 server. The keys are bigger on the blackberry's and they are almost bullet proof. The treo's reset a lot for no reason, dropped and missed calls. There's a class action lawsuit against Palm right now because they know of all the issues with them but aren't doing anything to address them.

We tried the i730 phones and they were ok but not stable, they should just put a reboot key on anything with the windows OS on it.

If you have a big enough company, get the BES 4 server for your blackberry's or get a hosting company like mailstreet to handle it for you, then EVERYTHING in outlook is synced up and you won't ever need to connect your device to your system to do any syncing.
