It doesn't really make you much stronger, and any mass you accumulate will quickly disapear if you take a little brake from training.
Just eat well and train hard, will give you the best result

suppliments can affect your body's ability to get the nutritions from natural food (say you always take protein in powder form, in some period of time your body will find it much harder to get protein from dairy). Natural is the way to go
