Favored can be rephrased to - "spider friendly" capable to be indexed. A lot of board scripts to mention - vbulletin for example.

Most CMS are not spiderable, due to login restrictions and other php scripts (we must open the content to the SE robots) all forums pages, as what news paper online networks do.

With google this is not good. LINK BACKS are points of voting that a certain website is good to the public. A website without backlink is burried deep in the SANDBOX.
