Body Count Since 2000

Damn Thats a lot of people over the last five years.

Since 2000, I was wondering what the headcount would be after all that has happend including Terrorism and Natural Disasters

9/11 2001 = The official count records 2,986 deaths in the attacks

Earthquake = Death Toll Climbs From India Quake (February 1, 2001), The death toll from last week's massive earthquake in northwestern India continued rising as more victims were found in the rubble this week. Indian officials say more than 25,000 people died in the most destructive earthquake to strike India in memory.

Tsunami= BANDA ACEH, Indonesia Dec 2004 hahaha8212; As of February 22, government agencies and the United Nations said the death toll stood at 169,752 with 127,294 people listed as missing.

Earthquake = SARBAGH, Iran Feb 22, 2005 hahaha8212; Under a cold, driving rain, survivors wailed over the bodies of the dead and dug through the ruins of mud-brick houses searching for their loved ones after a powerful earthquake flattened villages in central Iran on Tuesday, killing at least 420 people.

Earthquake = GUNUNG SITOLI, Indonesia Mar 31, 2005 hahaha8212; Indonesia's government lowered its estimated death toll on Thursday to between 400 and 500 people from an earlier estimate of 1,000; the United Nations, meanwhile, raised its toll to 624.

Earthquake = ALGIERS 2003 - International rescue workers were on their way to Algeria Thursday after a deadly earthquake killed more than 1,000 people and injured about 7,000.

So many more earthquakes couldn't search them all.
