verio is not in good shape. round after round of layoffs and consolidations. they should have done this a few years ago while things were good instead of wasting so much money on datacenters and redundant operations (history: verio bought 40 or so ISPs in an attempt to create one large one. this failed miserably. if it were not for NTT, verio would have gone the way of RCN (also of colorado. btw, remember TCI? colorado too. guess who founded verio. yep, TCI execs. dunno if they were fired or left on their own or what...)
i'd strongly suggest avoiding verio for hosting unless you're ok with moving your site around in 6-12 months.
