I usually clean the pot fairly regularly. I evidently didn't do it for a while though because the other day it got clogged and when I took it apart there was all kinds of gunk in there. LOL.

You guys wanna know what I found hidden UNDER the rim of my coffeepot??? Some dead cockroaches!!!!
And I drank from that pot for months without knowing! Reason being is that they were hidden under the metal rim around the pot, so they are practially invasible unless you look at it under a certain angle..
It's freaking disgusting, I only drink instant now!
