See this is the perfect example...In your case you aren't missing out on a thing. Your preferece is admirable because you are staying true to what you and your gf want " rather get my own private gf lapdance"
Now what would not be admirable is if you wanted to go but didn't because you were afraid of what others would say or because of some bullshit guilt issue. Or worse your relationship was so weak with your wife that you couldn't bring the issue up.
