not just for google but for all SEs as well

i apologize for my n00biness, but i would rather have someone explain this to me than to have get bits and pieces of info here and there. thank you and i love you if you answer these simple n00b SE questions.

<meta name="Keywords" content="penis, soft, gentle, tender, ramos">
= nice to have, make sure they match the content on the page. Most of the
SEs *may* use them in your description in the SERPs (results pages)

<meta name="robots" content="ALL">
<meta name="robots" content="index,follow">
= useless, use your robots.txt instead. Google, in particular, really doesn't listen to these tags - nor your robots.txt - as well as it should.

<meta name="rating" content="adult">
<meta name="distribution" content="Global">
= useless
